Square One

Located in TheHub and close to Coventry City Centre, the Square One Bar, Cinema and Entertainment Venue is the University's versatile entertainment venue.

Cinema

We are home to your 2D and 3D Cinema where we show blockbuster films, back to back cult movies, the new sing-a-long phenomenon as well as our own CineKids programme. Ideal for during the school holidays. The Cinema is open to staff, students and the general public. The Cinema can be hired exclusively to internal, external and corporate clients.

Square One Bar

Our bar is the perfect location to catch live sporting events on our many plasma TVs, to socialise with friends and colleagues or to enjoy our live acoustic evenings and creative theme nights. We serve quality drinks and offer a tailored and personal bar service to all of our internal and external customers.

Square One - The Venue

At Square One – Our Venue is unique and available to staff, students and external clients. With a full capacity of 694 we host many special events from Live gigs, Drag Shows, Immersive theatre productions and wedding receptions to award ceremonies. We create bespoke packages based upon your requirements and desires. We can offer break out areas/syndicate spaces if you need that additional space for meetings or dressing rooms, and also include technical support within our packages that we tailor make for our customers to create a special and successful event.
