# Enrolment information

Enrolment is the formal process through which you join the University. The deadline for this process has been extended from Monday 4th October 2021, the deadline enrol is now Friday 22nd October 2021.

# I am a UK student (paying Home fees)

If you’re a home-fee-paying student with UK nationality, you will be invited to enrol online before you arrive. If you have not received this enrolment link, please email us at

# I am paying Home fees but I am of non-UK nationality

Once your admissions record is ready, the Enrolment and Compliance Team will contact you to request information about your immigration status. This is likely to involve a face-to-face document check, so the same team will also make contact to book an appointment for you. Your enrolment link cannot be released to you until the right to study check has taken place. You must regularly check the personal email address you provided at the admissions stage, so that you do not miss out on our requests for information.

# I am an international student coming to the UK for Semester 1 in September 2021

This section is for you if you are an international student coming to the UK for Semester 1 in September 2021 on a Student Visa.

In order to complete your enrolment, you must have met all of your offer conditions and paid a minimum of £8,000 (opens new window). You will then need to complete the enrolment process online. You must have completed the following steps no later than Friday 22nd October 2021:

  1. After you have paid your deposit of £4,000, you will be sent a unique link to our online Welcome Portal via email where you will need to complete some registration details. As part of this, you will need to notify us whether you intend to start your course online in your home country or travel to the UK. If you plan to travel, you will be asked to confirm the date of your travel plans when completing the registration on the Welcome Portal. Please do provide an estimated UK arrival date even if you do not have your travel plans fully confirmed yet. Please remember, to check the latest government guidance (opens new window) on entering the UK before planning your travel arrangements.
  2. Once you have completed your registration on the Welcome Portal, do ensure you start engaging with your induction and learning activities/materials immediately.
  3. If you plan to travel, your right to study documents will be checked remotely. If we need further documentation from you, we will contact you using the email address you provided with your application.
  4. Once the document check has been completed, and you have paid your second installment of £4,000 (total £8,000 which must have cleared in the University’s account), you will receive a link to complete your online enrolment. This will be sent to the email address that you provided with your application.
  5. Log on to a computer to complete online enrolment.

# Under 18s

If you are under 18 at the time of enrolment, our International Student Support team will need to complete an under 18 check validating your UK guardian details. You should have received the Under 18 Parental Guidance Form with your offer letter. Please ensure you complete all sections of the form and provide the contact details of your UK guardian. We will not be able to grant you access to the Welcome Portal or send you a link to complete online enrolment until this check has been completed. If you have not completed your UK guardian details, please email as soon as possible.



Teaching will start on Monday 20 September 2021 and you are required to start attending your classes as soon as you are granted access to your course.

# Collect your BRP

Please note, if you are coming to the UK to study on a Student Visa, you will not receive the online enrolment link until you have demonstrated your right to study. On arrival to the UK (and after fulfilling quarantine obligations), you must collect your BRP card. This is the document that covers the duration of your course. When you make your visa application you should choose to collect your BRP card from a Post Office that is convenient to you. The Houndsditch Post Office (opens new window) branch is less than a 5-minute walk from Coventry University London and most of the popular accommodations, but please [check to find your local Post Office] nearest to you. Do not choose Coventry University or Coventry University London Campus as your collection location. Post Office BRP collection is the only option available to you at this time.

# I am an international student starting Semester 1 online in September 2021 and coming to the UK for Semester 2 in January
