# Enrolment information
Enrolment is the formal process through which you join the University.
For Coventry University London, enrolment opens on Wednesday, 3 January 2024.
Teaching for all January courses will begin on Monday, 29 January 2024. If you are an international student, to complete enrolment you must:
- be in the UK, arriving no later than 11.59pm on Sunday, 28 January.
- attend a Right to Study check (opens new window) by Monday, 29 January 2024 (do not leave this to the last day).
- pay all outstanding finances (£8,000 of funds cleared in our accounts).
If you have not successfully completed these actions, you will not be able to start or continue on your course.
While you wait to complete enrolment, if you have been given access to learning content via Aula, please ensure you are engaging with this content to support your studies.
You can view the most up-to-date enrolment information (opens new window) on the main website.
# Under 18s
If you are under 18 at the time of enrolment, our International Student Support team will need to complete an under 18 check validating your UK guardian details. You should have received the Under 18 Parental Guidance Form with your offer letter. Please ensure you complete all sections of the form and provide the contact details of your UK guardian. We will not be able to grant you access to the Welcome Portal or send you a link to complete online enrolment until this check has been completed. If you have not completed your UK guardian details, please email studentsupport.io@coventry.ac.uk as soon as possible.
# Collect your BRP
Please note, if you are coming to the UK to study on a Student Visa, you will not receive the online enrolment link until you have demonstrated your right to study. On arrival to the UK (and after fulfilling quarantine obligations), you must collect your BRP card. This is the document that covers the duration of your course. When you make your visa application you should choose to collect your BRP card from a Post Office that is convenient to you. The Houndsditch Post Office (opens new window) branch is less than a 5-minute walk from Coventry University London and most of the popular accommodations, but please check to find your local Post Office (opens new window) nearest to you. Do not choose Coventry University or Coventry University London Campus as your collection location. Post Office BRP collection is the only option available to you at this time.
